A solution for fatigue in the Netherlands: Pranic Living

In the Netherlands, 1 in 5 people wake up tired. This is a problem that millions of people experience every day. The feeling of listlessness, lack of energy and constant fatigue is a challenge that negatively affects our productivity, health and quality of life. But what causes this fatigue?

We have previously written an article about wake up tiredIn this article we will dive deeper into the impact of Pranic Living as a measure you can implement to get your energy level to an extremely high level.

Please note, pranic living is not a quick fix or temporary solution, it is a lifestyle that you can learn with the help of good guidance. Do not switch to pranic living without guidance. More information about pranic living can be found here.

Everything that makes us sick comes from within. It is already stored in us.
Let us turn within and throw out everything that makes us sick.
Pranic Living – a life of prana – makes this possible for everyone.

Diet is a major culprit for fatigue

One of the main causes of common fatigue is our diet. Here are some facts about the current eating habits of the average Dutch person:

  • Too many processed foods: The modern diet is full of processed foods that provide little nutritional value and can deplete our energy levels.
  • High sugar intake: Sugar provides rapid energy spikes followed by crashes, leading to a vicious cycle of energy loss.
  • Overconsumption of stimulants: Coffee and energy drinks are often used to get through the day, but they can ultimately disrupt our natural energy production.

These eating habits often result in a vicious circle of fatigue. People try to combat this fatigue with quick fixes such as coffee and sugary snacks, a Red Bull etc. This pattern ensures that the (natural) energy levels of the body are further depleted in the long run.

Processed foods in the supermarket

What is not made clear in supermarkets is that the vast majority of all food on the shelves is so flavored, colored and smelled that you want to keep eating (or drinking) it. In addition, it deviates – due to all the additives that have nothing to do with nature – from the real healthy natural product.

Being sick and tired due to food

An unbalanced diet or poor nutrition not only affects our energy levels but also our overall health. It can lead to:

  • Weight gain: A diet high in processed foods and sugar can lead to overweight and obesity.
  • Increased risk of chronic diseases: Diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure are often associated with a poor diet.
  • Weakened immune system: Insufficient nutrients can weaken our immune system, making us more susceptible to disease.
  • Mental health problems: Nutrition also affects our mental health. Poor dietary habits can contribute to depression and anxiety.

We offer weekends and retreats that make pranic living possible for you

Pranic living offers an alternative that goes beyond the conventional approach to nutrition and health. But what exactly is prana?

Prana is a concept from ancient Indian wisdom traditions and refers to the life energy that flows through everything and everyone. Instead of getting energy from physical food, pranic living teaches us to absorb this life energy directly from the environment.

Less sleep needed: the explanation

But why do people who live on prana need less sleep? Here are some explanations:

  • More efficient energy intake: When your body learns to draw energy directly from prana, it becomes more efficient at using this energy. This reduces the need for prolonged sleep to recover and regenerate.
  • Less digestive burden: Digesting food costs the body a lot of energy. By eating less, or not at all, this energy saving is converted into other physical and mental processes, which reduces the need for sleep.
  • Deeper meditative peace: The techniques used in pranic living, such as meditation and breathing exercises, promote a deep state of rest and restoration that can supplement or even partially replace traditional sleep.

Benefits of Pranic Living for Energy and Health

By embracing pranic living, people can experience dramatic improvements in their energy levels and overall health. Here are some of the benefits:

  • More energy: People who live on prana report significant increases in energy, often with only 2 to 4 hours of sleep per night.
  • Better health: Without the burden of heavy meals and processed foods, the body can better focus on healing and maintenance.
  • More time: With less need for sleep and food preparation, people have more time for other activities and self-development.
  • Weight loss: Because you eat less or not at all, pranic living can help you achieve and maintain a healthy weight.
  • Reduced risk of chronic diseases: By optimizing the body's own healing capacities, pranic living can reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease.
  • Strengthened immune system: A body that functions optimally through pranic energy is better able to fight infections.
  • Improved mental health: The deep peace and balance that pranic living provides can contribute to better mental health, less stress and an increased sense of well-being.

Other benefits of pranic living

While the theme of this blog is fatigue, there are other important benefits of pranic living that are worth mentioning:

  • Spiritual growth: Pranic living can promote a deeper connection with oneself and the world around us.
